Billet welding tag robot is widely used in billet continuous casting production line, realizing billet tracking by branch, replacing manual work, improving work efficiency and improving the working environment of front-line workers.
The system consists of a six-axis robot, a vision system, an automatic welding torch, a label printer, and an automatic feeding device for welding nails. The label printer can print the required information on the label according to the information sent by the MES system. The six-axis robot determines the position of the end face of the billet through the vision system, and then completes the actions of taking welding nails, taking labels and spot welding successively through the automatic welding gun carried by the robot to complete the label welding.
