JGS Series Pipe Gang Saw
This equipment is an improved model independently developed and manufactured by our company based on research of advanced international pipe bundle saws (MFL, Linxinger, Wagner) and their applications in the international and domestic pipe processing markets, taking into account customer requirements.
It is mainly used in the finishing section of hot-rolled seamless steel pipes, specifically after the cooling bed section, for the sawing process. After material separation and arrangement, the pipe is cut using a circular cold saw with a milling method for head cutting, tail cutting, and fixed-length cutting.
The circular saw machine is controlled by a PLC industrial controller. According to customer needs, corresponding auxiliary equipment can be designed, such as loading and finished product transfer, and handling of material heads and tails, as well as remote monitoring, achieving fully automated sawing operations. The circular saw uses carbide-tipped saw blades and is cooled with compressed air, ensuring a clean working environment with minimal pollution. This saw machine has currently reached an internationally advanced level, offering advantages such as stability and reliability, simple maintenance, high automation, high production efficiency, energy savings, and environmental friendliness.
Main Structural Features
1.The bed is a sturdy welded enclosed box-type structure, made of thick plates welded together. It undergoes aging treatment, providing high rigidity and resistance to deformation, ensuring excellent rigidity.
2.The saw blade box body is manufactured using a welded structure, with a single plate structure. The steel plate material is Q345-B, which undergoes annealing after welding, rough processing, secondary annealing, and sandblasting treatment. The transmission uses helical gears with backlash-free transmission to minimize the impact on the saw teeth caused by the discontinuous cutting of steel pipes. The transmission gears are all made of alloy steel with hardened gear surfaces, ensuring long service life and stable and reliable operation during cutting.
3.All bearings in the saw blade box are imported: needle bearings use INA products, and other bearings use NSK or FAG products. The gears are high-strength hardened gears made from high-quality steel, heat-treated and ground to achieve grade 6 precision. The spindle bearings and gears are oil-cooled and lubricated, ensuring the entire shaft system has good rigidity, low temperature rise, and high accuracy.
4.The saw cutting box has a saw release function, allowing the spindle to move axially outward by 3mm to protect the saw teeth from being scratched by the steel pipe when lifting. To prevent self-vibration and shaking of the saw blade during intense cutting, the machine tool is equipped with a saw blade stabilization device. This improves the stability of the saw machine, prevents bending vibration during high-speed rotation of the saw blade, enhances cutting performance, preserves the rigidity and cutting precision of the blade, reduces noise, and prolongs the service life of the saw blade.
5.The clamping system consists of two sets of clamping mechanisms: vertical clamping and horizontal clamping, which firmly hold the pipe bundle. The clamping system also has an automatic function to separate the cut workpieces, protecting the saw blade during its return.
6.The pipe bundle(gang )sawing machine is designed with a motorized roller conveyor, which can rotate forward and backward, and the conveyor body can be lifted and lowered to raise the pipe bundle, ensuring that the pipe bundle passes smoothly through the clamping system.
7.The main motor is a high-power variable frequency motor with a strong overload capacity during cutting, and the cutting speed is steplessly adjustable.
8.The feed system employs an AC servo motor to drive a ball screw, which moves the saw blade box, allowing for stepless adjustment of the feed speed and quick return, with stable and precise feed amount control. To overcome the inertia when the saw cutting box moves up and down, a specially designed lifting balance hydraulic cylinder mechanism is employed.
9.The saw machine can be fitted with carbide-tipped saw blades. The saw blade is cooled with cooled compressed air, which is clean and pollution-free. The cooling effect on the saw blade is significant, greatly extending the service life of the saw blade.
10.The machine is controlled by a Siemens PLC industrial controller. According to customer needs, corresponding auxiliary equipment can be designed, such as loading and length setting, finished product transfer, and handling of material heads and tails, as well as remote monitoring, achieving fully automated sawing operations.
